Co-Operative Care Dogs
To support safe, sustainable access to veterinary and husbandry care for dogs showing distress/ discomfort around grooming, care and medical procedures.
We will develop practical strategies to support veterinary care over the next 6–12 months, including how routines can be adapted to protect trust while meeting medical needs.
For this spectrum of dogs
I am concerned that dog has shown unsafe behaviours (snarling, muzzle punching, baring teeth, lunging) and has attempted to bite myself, another person and/or another dog.
I am concerned that my dog would go to more defensive or aggressive behaviours like snarling, snapping, biting if I kept going with a procedure but my dog has not done this yet.
We’ll start with a clear plan for any necessary interim medical care, ensuring your dog's immediate needs are met. Following this, you will receive a tailored training plan focused on building consent, choice, and control for your dog during all care procedures.
Once your plan is in place, you can choose the Ongoing Coaching path that fits best, either In-Person or Online.

“You have saved my dog. Charli has changed from a human aggressive dog to a non aggressive dog becuase you have taught us better and taught me to read her better. The training has amazed me. I love being guided by you and to see how far Charli can go.”
— Jane & Charli“Thank you Rose! I really appreciate this message, and all you've done for Pluto and me so far. Pluto did so well, especially for how long it went on for and the fact that a vet was actually there. Comparing to previous visits where she would try to hide, and then today she didn't hide and even took treats from the vet today is so good!!
I think the biggest thing for me when Pluto reacts is someone getting hurt, but also the judgment from others about it, and you have created such a judgement free and compassionate space. Its really helped my anxiety around Pluto with other people.. outside of everything else youve done for Pluto, so thank you ♥️
I'm really looking forward to continuing Plutos journey with you.”
— Freya & Pluto“We've both enjoyed learning about consent and co-operative care. It's been quite a journey to get Pepper to be an enthusiastic and willing participant in our sessions again. Thanks to Rose and data tracking, we've discovered some interesting info about Pepper and been able to implement some new things to help make her more comfortable.”

“Our life with Lucy Lou has completely changed for the better since we started working with Rose. Rose is a tremendously knowledgeable animal behavior expert who approaches her work with so much empathy for animals and their carers. Through her work directly with Lucy and pairing us with a behavior vet and physiotherapist, we are now familiar with Lucy’s complex triggers, discomforts and practical ways we can support her. The diligent and comprehensive support offered by Rose has been game changing in shaping our human-animal bond and helping all of us get the most out of our lives together ❤️”
—Lou Lou“The foundations we laid with our dogs have made all the difference in finding some ease in our dog/dog and dog/human home life. But your immediate suggestions made our lives so much more liveable, which was essential to making any next steps possible. Thank you for that.”
